A louvre shutter has 'blades' which allow the light to penetrate. Louvre shutters can operate on a 'tilt rod' which enables them to open and close - letting in as much light as you desire.
Adjustable louvres are available in either 32mm, 47mm, 64mm, 89mm or 114mm slats.
