Shutters are available as follows:
Louvre
A louvre shutter has 'blades' which allow the light to penetrate. Louvre shutters can operate with a 'tilt rod' which enables the louvres to open and close - letting in as much or little light as you desire. 'Hidden tilt rod' has no central rod, and the louvres are linked at the back with a hidden mechanism. This gives a clean, uncluttered look.
Adjustable louvres are available in either 32mm, 47mm, 64mm, 89mm or 114mm slats - depending on specification. Hidden tilt rods are not available with 32mm or 47mm louvres.
Solid
With a solid shutter there are no louvres to open and close so no light will get through.
Solid shutters are available in 3 different panel styles - depending on specification.
Solid Base
A shutter with a solid base is available for the full height style and has a lower solid panel with louvres above, ideal for doorways or cupboards.
Note: Solid and Solid base are not available in Craftwood or Coralwood.
