Sumatra Range
Our Sumatra Range is currently manufactured in FSC Certified White Teak (FSC certification since 1998 certificate CO28206 - available upon request). This is currently (as far as we are aware) the ONLY fully FSC Certified shutter product sold by our distributor in the UK today. It is of a beautiful silvery colour and has high dimensional stability which makes it an ideal wood for joinery and carpentry. This is our premium top of the range product.
The White Teak is grown on the island of Kolombangara in the Solomon Islands which nurtures several protected forests as a plantation area of 14,330 hectares planted with indigenous and exotic commercial wood species.
