Our ‘Miami’ Paulownia wood shutters are produced by an alternative manufacturer to the rest of our shutter range. Miami has a fantastic price point for a full hardwood shutter with an extensive array of customisation options to suit various interior design needs. Available in 14 paint colours and 11 wood stain finishes. Available with a hidden tilt rod, off set tilt rod or central tilt rod.
Due to the light weight nature of the material, the Miami range is ideal for larger windows and suitable for shaped windows as well as solid shaker and solid raised shutter styles. The Paulownia wood used is not only versatile in design but also an environmentally friendly choice. Paulownia trees have quick to grow, and once harvested the tree regenerates from its root system, making it a highly renewable and sustainable wood source.
Despite its light weight, Paulownia wood is amazingly strong, resistant to cracking or splitting, even when nails or screws are used. This durability, combined with its sustainable harvesting, makes our Miami range an excellent choice for those looking for an eco option. The Paulownia wood has a soft composition so a wood hardener is used to combat this, giving a perfect finish to the product.
