An update & some good news on our adapted ways of working Posted on 29 Apr 15:31 , 0 comments
We hope you are all staying safe and well. At this difficult time, we wanted to update you on our current amended ways of working whilst the global coronavirus crisis continues to affect us all.
The good news is that we have started to begin our site surveys and installations again, and are receiving regular shutter deliveries from our supplier. Following the latest government advice and by taking additional safety precautions we have decided it is conceivable for us to do so. Our showroom remains closed however, is operating visits BY APPOINTMENT only, please do ensure you book in a scheduled time ahead of travelling to us.
We can now in most instances visit sites to install and survey where it is deemed safe and where social distancing measures are possible and of course, only when our customers would like us to do so. The health and safety of our customers and our team remain our absolute priority. We do have the storage space to hold orders if you do not feel comfortable in taking a delivery or having an installation at this time. We are also still available to discuss any future or upcoming projects or orders via video call, telephone or email, and continue to fulfil the retail, trade and online orders being placed.
In regards to the current manufacturing of our products - over our 30+ years in business, we have carefully selected a handful of factories to manufacture our products. We are pleased to say that our shutter supplier is now continuing to manufacture as normal with only minimal delays in shipping, this is also the case with honeycomb blinds. We do currently have a halt in production on other blind products but hope that there will be a positive update on this soon.
As the situation evolves we will continue to update you if there are any further changes to be made. The whole team at The Shutter Shop would like to thank you all for your understanding and support during this challenging and unknown period and if you have any questions then please do not hesitate to get in touch with us directly. Again, the absolute priority for us is the health and well being of our customers and team members. Stay safe and well and lets hope positive news is on the horizon.
