What are Bermuda shutters made from?
Bermuda shutters combine an MDF frame with ABS plastic louvres. The lightweight ABS louvres let Bermuda handle wider panels than our all MDF Antigua range, while the MDF frame keeps the shutter sturdy and gives a smooth, painted finish that suits most rooms in the home, from bedrooms to living rooms and hallways alike.
How many colours are Bermuda shutters available in?
Bermuda shutters are available in a range of 28 paint colours, giving you more choice than our entry level Antigua range. You can see colour samples at our Fulham showroom or request them during a free home survey before you decide on a final colour for your room at home.
Are Bermuda shutters suitable for wide windows?
Yes. Because the ABS louvres are lighter than wood, Bermuda is a good choice for wider windows, though panels are limited to a maximum of two bifolding together on each side. For very wide openings, ask our team whether Bermuda or a hardwood range suits your window better before you place an order.
How much do Bermuda shutters cost per square metre?
Bermuda shutters cost £258 per square metre online, between our Antigua MDF range and our hardwood ranges. Bermuda shutters can have a maximum of two panels bifolding on one another at each side of the window. This suits most standard and wider windows, though very wide openings may need a different configuration, which our team can advise on during a free home survey at your own property.
